Thanks for your reply, Bob. I recognize the surnames you mention, but not the particular individuals. I do know of other Faulconers and Tinders who married Lancasters, and a Herring who married a Faulconer. I'm trying to establish another Faulconer and Lancaster connection.

At this time I'm seeking information on one of O.N. (Oswald) Faulconer's sisters–Georgiana Ella (?) Faulconer, who was born about 1856. Other siblings were Clementine C., James C. and Sallie.

These were the children of Carter B. Faulconer, Jr., and Elizabeth M. Herring. I don't know their connection to any other Orange County Faulconers.

Clementine C. Faulconer married Jas. A. Hughes in 1871, and James C. Faulconer married Mary E. Hughes in 1882. (Source: Orange County Marriages, Library of Virginia) I have nothing other than census data for Georgiana Ella (?), Sallie, and their parents.

If you should find any information on Georgiana Ella (?)–the spelling of her name or a marriage or death record–please let me know.

Martha O'Donnell
