Dear Jackie -- Thanks for the information. I still don't make the connection, but as I said last night, Grandpa talked about visiting with his "Marcoux" cousins in Los Angeles, so I know it's there -- I simply don't have given names to work with!
Were you aware that they were all self-taught musicians, playing different instruments. Grandpa played the guitar and "squeeze box" (concertina). They performed for Saturday night dances while in L.A., and made a little money for their effort (more like fun).
Do you know if you still have family in the Los Aangeles area? If so, do you have the Faucher connection?
