Burt, if your William Richard was born in Tuscaloosa, I can probably help a little.
From Union Co., SC records of the estate of Richard Faucett, Sr. and his wife, Nancy Whitlock, comes information on their son Richard Faucett, Jr., who had died before 1851 leaving his widow Catherine Bird Faucett and children Richard, Samuel, Elizabeth, and Catharine B. Faucett and Ann Faucett Springer, all of whom lived in Tuscaloosa.
So, you would have to come from either Richard or Samuel.
