James Faucett may have had an uncle named David who was most likely born in Ireland, but is often shown as being OF Orange Co. NC., meaning that he lived there, but was not necessarily born there. This David was born, I believe, about 1743. I can fully understand your confusion. There are so many of the Faucett's with the same first names. It is also my belief that this David was married to Ellen (Eleanor) Twiggs. I don't know if he was married more than once. Hope this helps.
