Just wanted to add a supplement of information to my previous query...
I believe I've sorted out James' parents, however now there is some further debate as to James' father (it never ends!)
Anyhow, I believe James' parents to be David Faucett (b. 29 Apr 1747; d. 14 Mar 1810) and Elizabeth Davis (b. 1762; d. Abt. 1831). Their other children were Elizabeth and Joseph. Now where the confusion lies is in David's family as to whether or not he was married more than once and if he had other children by that first marriage. There were certainly more than one David Faucett floating around and one I've seen that's been confused with this one was born in Orange Co where as I believe this David was born in England.
Can anyone shed any light on this area for confusion? Thanks!
