I have been contacted by a distant cousin with some information. He has indicated that he intends to join the forum.I thought I would pass on his information in the meantime.I hope someone finds it helpful. The earliest Faucett listed is Thompson Faucett who was married to Mary "Polly" Seay.Thompson Faucett died in either SC or Hall County Ga before 1830.His wife lived near her sons in north Ga probably Dawson County between 1870 and 1880.Thompson and Mary had 3 sons and 3 daughters:Larenzo D. Fausett(different spelling) Augustus S. Faucett, Maiden Thompson Faucett Honeaand Albert G. Faucett and 2 unknown daughters. The known children lived in either Pickens or Dawson Co, Ga.It seems Albert's line is where my family branch came from, according to my source he is my 2nd great grandfather.I will post more as it becomes available.
