FIXING COCKE COUNTY FAUBION CEMETERY
This cemetery is in need of repair. There are no more Faubion's in Cocke County, but the cemetery is still used by the locals. If you know how to upgrade a cemetery, fix old stones/markers, or anything... email me.I am willing to contribute to fixing this cemetery that holds so many of the original Faubion's.Jacob Jr, (son of Hans) is buried on private land, but his children are there.Naomi Faubion fixed several stones with beautiful markers, but she has passed on now too... and we are all that is left. The sign is missing... the older stones have fallen into gravel piles... some of the stones and markers are in the Negro section... anyone know anything about that?I am planning on visiting Parrottsville soon, and also spending several hours in Newport, xeroxing and copying everything I can on this family.
HELP HELP HELP
I know NOTHING about prices, laws or anything related to cemeteries... besides the fact that most of my family will wind up in one... somewhere :)
