Scotie, Thank you for your reply. After reviewing my Fatheras, I have found that most of them list Va. as their starting points. If you are still interested, I'll be glad to send you more info. I have been interested in the Stroops to whom at least Mary Ellis Fathera married into as my mother was a Stroop from Rutherford, County, Tn. Mary Ellis Fathera had a brother James C. Fathera, and possibly, a brother Federick Fathera. James is listed in the family Bible. Federick is in Rutherford County as well, and their descendents seem to carry on the Ebenezer name, usually as a second name, but at least once as "Ebenezer B." Do you have any info on the Ebenezer Fathera who is listed as the head of the household in the 1790 Census for Va.? Thanks, Alice Notify Administrator about this message?
