I had a half great-aunt that married a Fatherree (yes, he spelled it with two "r's"). His mother was Elizabeth Ford and his father Henry Hilliard Fatheree. She was born in Mississippi and married in either Caddo Parish, LA or Lone Oak, TX.
In checking the Ford Family Genealogy Forum, you will find a listing by Scottie that lists the father and siblings of Henry Hilliard Fatheree.
The name "Jefferson" appears on this two page genealogy, as well as a TJ Fatheree. Perhaps one was your ancestor or related to your ancestor.
To get this quickly, go the home page for the surname Ford, then in the vacant box towards the upper left corner, type in the name Fatheree and clock on "enter". You will get another screen that will list of messages that contain that name.
The list by Scottie contains the name of the parents of Dr. C. E. Fatherree (Henry and Elizabeth)but not the names of his children, to whom I was kin (all deceased now).
This line ended up in Texas.
