Fate Family History - 1 copy, FREE

I have a book titled "The Fate Family History" privately published by Charles F. Hinton, Jr. several years ago. The earliest information was compiled by William H. H. Fate of South Dakota. It does not have an index - please do NOT ask me to do look-ups.

The format is rather difficult to follow, but it seems the family originates in Pennsylvania, on to Ohio, then Illinois, & Iowa. A few branches spread to Colorado as well.

The progenitor appears to have been Martin Fate who married in Pennsylvania to an Englishwoman of unknown name. The first dates begin with his grandson John FAIT b. 25 Jun 1804.

The bulk of the book deals with the Iowa branch who married into the Hinton family of Des Moines, IA. There are copies of marriage & other records for this branch & transcripts of obituaries.

As I'm not related to the Fate family, I'd be happy to give this book to anyone who feels they are related. No charge other than covering the postage. The book is in "MINT" condition.

Please e-mail me directly to inquire.
