Robert William Fast was born 1920 to Wm O and Lena Bowman Fast (with siblings as mentioned). He was a WWII veteran serving with the 5th Army Air Base in the Pacific Theatre where he was captured and held as a POW in the Phillipines.
He returned to Barton County after the war where he resided until his death in 1998.
There is a Nebraska connection, as Oliver made his home there for many years, but I believe the Wm. Robt you are looking for must be different.
