I'm trying to find information on George B. Fast who was born July 22, 1893 in Newton, Kansas. His parents were Abraham Fast and Mary (?). I got this information from his application for a social security number that he applied for in 1956 at the age of 62.
This George Fast moved west to Washington State circa 1910 and settled in Ritzville, Adams County, WA. In a photo, dated 1910, he is pictured in front of the OK Livery Stable in Ritzville. If the date is correct, he would have been only 17 years old in the photo. Sources in the Ritzville area say that he worked as a veterinarian, travelling all over the Adams County area to take care of sick farm animals. But nobody seems to know the name of his wife or his children. The sources also say that he lived to an old age and died sometime in the late 1960s or early 1970s. There is no documentation of this.
Do any of you know anything about this George B. Fast, who was born in Kansas, and was the son of Abraham and Mary Fast?
