Our Fassett's are descended from Patrick and live in Cheshire County, New Hampshire. This theory sounds nice, but Patrick came to America when? I believe the first Fastnet Lighthouse was built in the late 1880's. That would be a true enough theory for TRUE Fassetts leaving Ireland in that time period, but ours are Patrick (MacPherson) Fassetts. So all said & done, I vote against this theory....Lu Dawn
