CHARLES BRAINARD FARWELL7 (Joseph6, Edmund5, Daniel4, Joseph3, Ensign Joseph2, Henry1), b. Dec. 31, 1830, in Lowell, Mass.; m. (1) in 1855, Louisa Vinton, of Conn. She d. in 1865 and he m. (2) Sept. 2, 1877, Mary Isabel Bennett, of Ohio, who was b. July 19, 1851, and d. June 30, 1909, in Sturgis, S. D. Louisa Vinton was the dau. of Hasia and Clementine (Vinton) Vinton, both b. in Woodstock, Vt.
Mr. Charles Brainard Farwell went, with his brothers, in 1859 to Colorado. In 1877 he moved to South Dakota, where he resided until his death which occurred Mar. 30, 1909.

She d. Mar. 22, 1890, without issue.
