Hi Boots,

I am interested in your comment regarding a Farrar I suspect is a Farrow. Are there distinct lines of the name? I understood that the name was changed by some ancestors but not by others and that Farrars and Farrows were the same family. I am a Farrar tracing the genealogy and the name changed from Farrow to Farrar. I am a direct descendent of John Farrow and his wife Frances and daughter Mary leaving Hingham, England to Hingham, Mass in 1635 and later the family ended up in Lincoln County, Maine mostly in Bristol, Maine.
