The strangeness in your Farren family is familier only in that my western PA Farrens were known to be mentally disturbed. John Farren, b. somewhere in PA, and of Venango Co., is the earliest I know of. He married Debora White. There were a few kids. I only know of my James. Were the rest sold?
Supposedly the Farrens come from New England, but no proof for mine.
