My great-grandmother immigrated to the U.S. from Manchester, Lancashire, England, in the late 1800's. Her name was Elizabeth Farren. She left a sister, Mary Farren Rigby, behind. I'm seeking information about their parents. According to oral history, their names were Anne and Robert. I believe they may have been cotton-mill workers. They reportedly lived in Preston, Lancashire at one time. Anyone with information, please share!!!
