Seeking information on Cornelius Farrelly (Farley) from County Cavan. Possibly from Ardlow, Mullagh, Cavan or Drumhirk, Lavey, Cavan. He was born about 1809 - the son of Michael and Ann Farrelly. He married Margaret Burns, the daughter of Edward and Bridget Burns. She was born around 1846 and died April 23, 1891. In an 1899 write up about his son-in-law, the article stated Cornelius, then aged 90, was still living.
Cornelius and Margaret had the following children:
Thomas - immigrated to NYC some time after 1899
James - immigrated to NYC around 1908, died May 22, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY; buried at St. Augustine Church Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings, New York.

Bridget - Born Feb. 2, 1866, died Jan. 27, 1933 in Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, buried Jan. 30, 1933 at St. Basil's Cemetery, Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. Arrived in Philadelphia on July 18, 1883 on board the British Prince. She traveled with her brother, Patrick, age 11. They went to stay with relatives in Wilmot Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. She married James S. Gainer on April 15, 1891 at St. Basil's, Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. They had a daughter, Margaret, who died young and they then adopted two boys.
Patrick - born March 17, 1872, died April 26, 1936 in Elmira, Chemung County, NY, buried at Ephiphany Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sayre, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Immigrated with sister Bridget. He married Ellen Walls on January 23, 1894 at St. Basil's, Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. They had thirteen children: Cornelius, Patrick, Francis, Michael, Mary, James, John, Margaret, Helen, Leon, Bridget, Joseph and Paul.
John - born in September 1865, died 1945 in Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, buried at Cummiskey Cemetery, Wilmot Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Immigrated around 1887. Married Kathryn (Katie) O'Neill on May 1, 1902 at St. Basil's, Dushore, Sullivan, Pennsylvania. They had three children: Margaret, James and Mary Ann.
