my ancestor Patrick Farrelly came from Ireland (Cavan/Meath border in the early 1850S. He landed in new york and went to live with relatives who had a brickyard in haverstraw or stony point ny. These relatives were the parents or grandparents of John Farley who was the postmaster general during the Roosevelt presidency. He married mary flynn and during the civil war showed up in philadelphia, pa where he worked in another brickyard. His father was named Nicholas Farrelly. can anyone help me with this scap of information to find his ancestors in Ireland?
