Hi. Landon C Farrar is the earliest Landon we have found and have no idea where the name came from. I wish I knew what the C stands for, as several of my husband's line since Landon have carried the middle name Clayton, including my husband and my son. Since it was supposed to be a family name passed down, I wish we could prove that the C stands for Clayton. How far back have you traced your Farrow/Farrar line. I know that some of the Farrows have matched up on the DNA with the Farrar lines. We have sure learned a lot with the DNA testing reggarding my husband's family. We did find a descendant of Landon Farrar and Ann Walker and the results are not 100% definitive that our line is directly thru them, but pretty good circumstantial evidence that my husband and son are close cousins with this Farrar.
