note J Farr and George live next door to each other. I'm guessing J is the father of George and a good chance to be in the same family of William and Michael.
There is one Pharr family in Wilcox County.
Ephrium Alexander 2.3.14 Pharr
My notes on him:
- 2.3.14 -Info from other sources. He inherited from his father when four years old the homestead in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. His fathers will was dated 7/12/1798. In 1816 he was living in Putnam County, Georgia. He was the second Sheriff in Wilcox County, Alabama and a Col. in the Indian Wars under Gen. Andrew Jackson. He sold for $500. when he was 21 years of age to Michael Powers 9/9/1815 200 acres on Long Creek in Oglethorpe County which he had inherited from his father. He moved to Canton Bend, Wilcox Co. Ala.

I think he had more children. I'm pretty sure they were not from Mary Mathews. There seems to be at least two more sons. Note Mary was 29 when they were marrried so it's possible they were hers. The two men were born before Ephrium and Mary were married. The names I find are John B. Pharr who moved to Texas and a William Walter Pharr. John is shown I'm told on the 1850 and 1860 Anderson C. census and on the 1870 and 1880 Trinity C. census.
