Hi Sheena,
You offer some fascinating pieces of info here!
First, re the Beatrix Garden who married a "Finla More", that latter is a quite famous name. Findla(y) Mor was indeed the 1st laird of Invercauld, and the head of the main Farquharson clan, including being grandfather of the 1st laird of Finzean. Beatrix "Gardyne", daughter of "George Gardyne of Gardyne and Banchory", was the second wife of Findla Mor, but it is thru her children that most of the clan descends. You can see the Farquharson clan very well documented at:

The dates don't match up exactly (eg Burke has Findla Mor die in 1547, while you have the parents of Beatrix marrying in 1555), but it seems pretty clear that we're talking about the same people.
Re the Hugh Garden who married a Christian Farquharson Spring in Aberdeen in 1819, she is most likely related to the lairds of Finzean. Note that Archibald Farquharson, 5th laird of Finzean, married Christian Spring in 1792. (He was apparently about 60, and she in her 20's.) They had one son, Archibald, 6th of Finzean, in 1793, and Archibald Sr died a few years later in 1796.
Spring was not a common name, but there were some in Aberdeen, including a Robert Spring, who is mentioned in some of the Birse Parish records as a witness to a baptism in 1797. Perhaps your Christian Farquharson (Spring) Garden is his daughter? It seems likely that she is a first cousin to Archibald Jr, the 6th of Finzean, which would explain why Farquharson is being used as a middle name in that Garden family. She was perhaps named after her aunt(?), wife of the 5th laird.
My 4x-great grandmother was Isobel Spring, who married Robert Sherrat, overseer at Finzean. Their first son was Archibald Farquharson Sherrat, and Farquharson has been used as a middle name for several generations of Sherrats.
If you have any more information about the Springs, I would love to see it! Sounds like we may be distant cousins!
Kind regards,
Tom
