Have you ever heard that Farquhar was spelled Foraker, Foreacre or Fouracre? The few families with the Foreacre surname were all in the same locations of MD and PA with Farquhars . Looks to me like there was a william Foreacre in Bedford PA 1790/1800 who later spelled it Farquhar.
