Thank you. This is interesting. It's useful to know the exact dates of George Farquhar's birth and death and that he has siblings. Do you have any idea when or why George came to South Carolina? And do you know anything at all about George's wife, Elizabeth Sherwood? Do you know if George was Anglican (Episcopalian) or Unitarian?
I'll continue looking to see what I can find on George's siblings. That might prove a more useful track to follow.
Is this George Farquhar of any relation to the author of that name who lived at about the same time?
