I have a chart on this branch of the Farquhars. James Farquhar (b. 27 Jan. 1810) was one of seven children of James Farquhar (b. 1787) and Christina Lowe. This James was one of nine children of William Farquhar and Jean Calder, who were married in 1770 in Drumoak.
James Farquhar and Jean Brewster were married in Drumoak in 1831 and went to Australia in the ship "Caroline" in 1853. I have information on their nine children.
