I'm trying to sort out the Farnsworths in Northumberland County, Pa. Here's some miscellaneous records I've come across in my search.
Mary Farnsworth dec.
Be it remembered that on the 8th day of August 1860, Letters of Administration in due and common form of law upon the estate of Mary Farnsworth decd. here granted to Peter Malick who entered into bond with Henry B. Conrad and Henry ______ in the sum of $100.00

Adonijah Farnsworth decd.
Be it remembered that on the 14th day of March A.”D. 1843 letters of Administration in due and common form of law were granted to Robert Farnsworth upon the estate of Adonijah Farnsworth decd. (The widow having first renounced) who entered into Bond with Jonathan Farnsworth and Isaiah Morgan in the sum of six hundred dollars.

Be it remembered that on the 5th day of May A.D. 1845 letters of Administration in due and common form of Law were granted to John Farnsworth upon the Estate of Robert Farnsworth late of Shamokin Township decd. who entered into Bond with Ira T. Clement and John Friling in the sum of Four hundred dollars.

The petition of Julian Farnsworth, one of the daughters of William Farnsworth, late of Augusta Township decd. humbly showeth that she is a minor over the age of 14 years of age and has no guardian to take care of her person, and prays the court to appoint William Kerlin her guardian for that purpose — the petitioner states that she has not any property.
Whereupon Nov. 18, 1843 read and Mr. Kerlin appointed guardian by the court.
Orphan’s Court Book 9, pg. 21
The petitiion of George E. Farnsworth humbly showing that his father John Farnsworth lately died intestate leaving Joseph, Philip, Henry, Mary Ann, minors under the age of 14 years, that they have no guardian to take care of their persons and estates, therefore praying the court to appoint Joseph Hagendobler guardian of said minors. Whereupon Nov. 19 petition read and Joseph Hagendobler appointed.

On page 313 is another petition from George E. Farnsworth, it lists all 7 children of John Farnsworth of Milton as: George E., John, Catherine, Margaret, Joseph, Henry, and Mary Ann.
From “The Sunbury American” newspaper:
Jan. 21, 1887;
William C. Farnsworth married Maria Lodge of Dauphin County last Thursday. William C. is a student in Hon. John B. Packer’s law office.
Friday, Jan. 28, 1887;
Mrs. Lot Bartholomew [Beulah Farnsworth, daughter of Robert Farnsworth and Sarah Saxton] died at her home in Purdytown on Saturday morning of consumption.
William C. Farnsworth, Esq. and his bride have returned from their bridal trip and taken up their abode at Central Hotel.

May 17, 1842
To the electors of Northumberland County. The subscriber respectfully offers himself as a candidate for the office of Prothonotary at the next general ensuing election. Should he be so happy as to be elected he will endeavor to give general satisfaction to all.

From the Diary of Eliza Johns, Northumberland Co., PA:
October, 1861
A man killed on the railroad between here and Shamokintown. Wm. Farnsworth, his name. Had a wife and 2 children. Several cars broken on the night of the 24th.
