Joyce tells me that someone has listed the children of Stephen Farmer and Judy Harper as Elizabeth b 1792 m first cousin, Thomas Farmer; James Farmer m Christiana Massey and went to Texas; Susannah Farmer m. Kennerly; and William H. Farmer (b 1810 TN). As a descendant of William H(arper?) Farmer this is of great interest to me. I have thought Stephen was my ancestor, but never had enough information to try to make a list.
Wm. H. Farmer made a claim to the Civil War Claims Commission, said he was a Union man, went to Louisville, KY to sit out the war, and he had two nephews who were on the Confederate side whom he did not aid in any way. Who can name his nephews?
