Nancy,
I don't have a copy of Isham's will. I called the Noxubee County Courthouse yesterday to see how I could obtain a copy. Unfortunately, I was told a copy of the will couldn't be made because the book was very old. She said I would have to come down there (I live in West Virginia) and either write down what the will said or take a picture of it.
William and Nancy (Farmer) Shields are also my gr-gr-gr-gr grandparents. They had a son, James (b. 1800, d. 25 Aug 1873) who married Sarah "Sally" Neal on 23 Dec 1823 in Pittsylvania County, Va. Their daughter, Tabitha Shields (b. 2 Oct 1836, d. 25 Sept 1917) married James Edward Roark on 4 Feb 1857.
If you have any information on the family of William and Nancy, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
