Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I have that James Jones and Deborah Farlow had eight children, but I only know two of them:
Joseph Jones b. 8-28-1818 in Indian, d. 7-19-1896 in Orange Co., IN
Jonathan Lindley Jones b. April, 1829 in Orange County, IN, d. ? in Orange Co., IN
Joseph Jones married Deborah Lindley on 5-23-1844. Deborah was the daughter of Jonathan Lindley and Deborah Dix (Dicks). Yep, these families did some inter-marrying. I'm guessing because this land was just being settled and there weren't enough people for everyone to marry a non-relative.
Deborah Lindley was born 9-6-1789, died 4-7-1827. Joseph and Deborah are buried at the Newberry Cemetery in Orange Co., IN.
