Mr. Farley, In your note about your trip to Ireland you mentioned that you were accompanied by Ambrose O'Connell, your assistant. I am searching for my grandfather, Dennis Patrick O'Connell who had a brother Ambrose and his wife Gladys. Dennis was born, I believe, in Blaine County, KS around 1883. His mother, born in Kentucky, was Kathryn(sp). His father was born in New York but I do not have his first name. Dennis Patrick O'Connell was a travelling shoe salesman and the last known information that I have on him is that he left his employment with Sears and Roebuck shortly before the 1929 Market Crash. My mother, Kathleen O'Connell (B.1915) was the second of his daughters born from his marriage to Margarite Hyde Flannery of Beloit, KS.(my grandmother). I believe they were married sometime around 1909 in Hutchinson, KS. Would it be possible for you to ask your Ambrose O'Connell if this might be his family? My mother is still alive but in poor health and I would dearly love to solve the mystery of her Dad's "disappearance", which has haunted her all of her life, before she dies. Sincerely, Suzi Rank Gordon Notify Administrator about this message?
