Some thoughts -- IL death certs after 1920 asked for parents names and town/country of birth - do you have Bridget's date of death?

These is also a database at Ancestry.com of Chicago Irish Families - there are a slew of Kerwins and a handful of Farleys -- none that I see are direct hits, but if you'd like, I'd copy them to you just for reference?
Have you looked for her on Ellisislandrecords.org? There are 15 Bridget Farleys -- from 1895 - 1907 there are 6 -- theses ages: 28, 35, 27, 43, 18, 21, 20
