I am not familiar with the Faris book so I'm asking if there is a Joseph Faris (or Farris) mentioned in it. He lived in Frederick Co. MD from about 1755 until his death in 1771. He was married to Isabella and had the following children: Agnes, Jane, Thomas, and John. We think he was Scotch Irish and came from Ireland to Philadelphia & then to Adams Co., PA where he was a Marsh Creek Settler. Thanks for your help.
