Paula.Kathy.and all of interest in the Farinha name. It is an old portuguese name with a coat of arms and is a branch of the Goes family.As for the name being found in Chile. I find it very feasible since undoubtedly this family must have originated in Spain. If I'm not mistaken the n in spanish is equivelant to nh in portuguese The land that they possessed is virtually .known as the city of Goes today.
