Faringer -Pueblo, CO to San Diego, CA

I am seeking information on my grandmother. Her name is Hazel Harriet Faringer. I believe Faringer was her maiden name, but not possitive. On my fathers application for a social security card he has her name spelled as HAZEL HARRIATE FARINGER. He was 16 when he filled out the card, so the name I believe was mis-spelled. The man Hazel married was Robert Lee Johnson. But it was a second marriage for Hazel. I was told that Robert adopted my father (Dave Lee Johnson). I don't know if Faringer was actually her maiden name or her former married name. The only thing that I know for sure is that my father, Dave, was born in Pueblo Colorado 12-19-1923. And grew up in San Diego, Calif. So if any of you that have faringers that you are keeping track of, if you have a loose Hazel hanging around in your tree, let me know. I could sure use some help. All of my fathers family is dead now so I have no one to ask all the obvious questions
