hello elizabeth, its been a while since i posted on here and i hadnt found out much about my family. this is all the information i have gathered so far. i would really like any help that i can get.
My name is Jose Farias. I am from California, born and raised here in the central valley near Fresno. The only thing i know is that my grandfather was names Jose Farias and died in Mexico. I know he was born in September of 1912. He married my grandmother Filomena Chavez and had i believe somewhere between 12-16 kids. im not really sure about the number. my grandmother had a sister who moved to the U.S. i believe it was some time around or after the great depression. and live in san fransisco for a portion of her life. her name was guadalupe chavez i might be incorrect about her last name. she may have gone by the of name lupe. my mom says that she is from el ranchito michoacan. i would like to know if anything from this sounds like you might now anything about them or some one that might. i hope to hear from someone soon. i will post more information as soon as i find out more. thank you for your time.
Jose Farias

My grandparents are Jose Farias Mendoza and Filomena Chavez Villa(senor). They are from either Michoacan, Colima, or Coalcoman. My grandfather had these siblings: Jesus, Fidel, Benjamin, Maria (might have another name), Angelina, Josefina, and Jobita. My grandmothers siblings are BLas, Miguel, Maria Guadalupe, and Altagracia .Im not sure about the ages of any of the siblings of my grandparents. My great-grandparents on my grandfathers side were Leopoldo Farias-Barragan(or Varragan) and Josefa Mendoza-Montayo. My great-grandparents on my grandmothers side were Jose Maria Chavez-Quintero and Maria Villa(senor)-Garcia.
P.S. Thank you for taking time to read this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
