Lori: I think we are probably on the same wave length.I have quite a bit on the SD Fargos, starting in 1863 when Sylvester C. Fargo went west to the Dakota Territory with the James S. Foster colony from Syracuse.Sylvester was born Nov 1830 in Pharsalia, NY and died Sep 17, 1900 in Clay County, SD.This blood line goes back to the mid 1600s and is pretty well up to date.If this helps, or piques your interest, let me know. I have one question on William George Fargo and his plot in Forest Lawn Cemetery and I'll need some data on where you and your husband fit into this family name. Wyoming, Chautauqua, Genesee, and Cattaraugus Counties are filled with the Fargo family.
I don't have the James name in my data base, so help me out.
Dave...
