Jim, I am interested in Johnson Fargason's estate loss in Civil War. Could you be speaking of the value of confederate money which was taken in the settlement of estate? I also have will and inventory and results of sale. What is your descent from Johnson? re "poppa" in follow on message, I believe that it is unlikely that David Fargason was Lt from Colleton Co. Believe that it is obvious that this was another family. Idea his father was John comes from Book, "Henry County Georgia Families." I have not been able to prove that.
