Many thanks for your detailed reply, only some of which I knew and not as far back as your info. However I am really trying to find out if there was a parallel link, eg cousins, between Sir Thomas George Fardell with my Grandfather Thomas Henry Fardell b 1879 who married a Lucy Gourley or his father Thomas Jackson Fardell. Both from Newington (St Pancras).
