To Bev and others looking for Farraghers from Co. Mayo: I have a whole cluster of Farraghers who immigrated in the 1865-1890 time frame. I believe they originated in Co. Mayo and those I'm researching settled in the Youngstown, Ohio area. My g-grandfather Edward Farragher was among them. He immigrated, according to his Naturalization application, in about May of 1869 at the age of approximately 16. By 1900, including descendants, there were at least 120 Farraghers in the Youngstown area. I have many family groups from census records, church records, etc., but have not yet succeeded in connecting them, and I haven't been able to identify Edward's parents. I'm trying to connect all of the related Farraghers in Youngstown because I believe I'm related to all of them, and to their descendants. Please contact me if there is any possibility of a connection.
