Fanslau family of Germany & now Poland

My grandfather was Carl Fanslau who was born in what is now Rypin, Poland. At the time it was a part of Russia. He became a naturalized Prussian Citizen and then a naturalized American citizen. I am interested in hearing from any of the Fanslau's and those who changed the spelling of their name to Fanslow.
