David Fansher, Jefferson county, Iowa

I am looking for information on a David Fansher & his family, who lived in Locust Grove Twp., Jefferson county, Iowa. In August someone left a reply to a query of mine on the Gilmer Forum, stating that my ancestor, Barbara (Dougherty) Gilmer, was the adoptive daughter of the above David Fansher. She stated that my Barbara was listed in David's Will. I tried getting in touch with the woman in order to get more information, but was unable to. I have no dates as to when this David Fansher lived in Jefferson county, but I do know that my Barbara was living in Locust Grove Township with her husband & children by at least 1856. I can only assume her adoptive father arrived around the same time period. If anyone has any information about this David Fansher, or any other Fansher's, who lived in Locust Grove Township I would greatly appreciate your contacting me!
