I have posted all the American FANSHAW records we have located so far on my website:
(two line URL)
These records begin in the VA Colony with Sir Henry FANSHAWE listed on the Colonial Census 1607, include every reference to all FANSHAWs we've found along the way, and go up to the FANSHAWs who served in the Civil War. In an attempt to trace some of these folks, also included are associated records, information, and lineages.
Our primary goal is to sort out the relationships :) and to gather information on Thomas 1 FANSHAW b. ca 1635 d. 1668/9 of Lower Norfolk VA, his wife Mary HORNE, and the descendants of their only son Thomas 2 of Lower Norfolk VA/Currituck NC. Every Currituck tax record for FANSHAW is also included.
If you can provide additional information on any of the American FANSHAWs, I would appreciate hearing from you!
