Lisa, don't know if you are still checking this site, but Jesse Dempsey Fannon was my great grandfather. Josephine Victoria Mullins was his second wife. My grandfather was by his first wife. There are a bunch of our relatives still living in the northern part of Virginia. That's your best place to start. I have a picture of Jesse and several of his sons that was sent to me by a relative, if your friend is still interested.
