Can't give you the specific info that you are looking for, but believe most if not all Fannon/Fanning people of Greene Co., TN, are/were descendents of Nathan Fanning and wife Nancy. They moved to Greene Co. from Wythe Co., VA, c1804. Nathan died before 1820. He was a brother to my ggg grandfather Joseph Fanning Sr, and son of John Fanning Sr who died 1814 in Grayson Co., VA.
If you can make the connection to one of Nathan and Nancy's sons, William, Nathan, John, Greenberry or Alfred, born c1797/1811, then can give you other info on the Fannings.
