I am offering to pay for a y-DNA test for the first person who qualifies. The offer is good through Dec. 29th, 2011.
Qualifications for free test:
1. Must be a living male Fannin/Fannon
2. Must be a proven descendant of either:
A. William Michael Fannin b. ca. 1797 Va m. Jane Penix
& Polly Pack
OR
B. Joseph Fannin b. ca. 1802 Va. m. Elizabeth & Mary
Gallion
3. Must agree to supply to Family Tree DNA a DNA sample as
instructed in the free test kit provided & agree to
sign the test release form included with the kit.
4. Must agree to having your test results posted on
the Fanning DNA Project Website at:
www.worldfamilies.net/f/fanning
5. Must agree to supply the Fanning DNA Project with a list
of your Fannin/Fannon ancestors starting with your
father back to the ancestor named in Qualification 2A
or 2B listed above. (No living people will be posted)
Since I am personally offering to pay for this test, I reserve the right to deny any or all applications to this free offer for any reason.
