I have a Jessee Dempsey Fannon born about 1880 in Virginia, probably Lee County and marrying a Josephine V. Mullins in 1895 Putnam Co. Georgia. I may have records crossed up, or this may be your guy. He is part of the Bryant Fannon/ Abigal Muncy Line which stayed in SW Virginia until after "the war of Northern aggression".
I have nothing on the Wallaces.
I am not sure where I got the Dempsey name. The 1880 census for Rocky Station, Lee Co. shows him as Jesse. Maybe is came with the marraige record in Georgia.
