Looking for Step-father, William David Fanning, 1930's

I am looking for William David Fanning, my step-father who was married to my mother in the early 50's. He would be in his early 70's now. He went to East High School in Kansas City, Missouri and then joined the Navy. He retired and lived in California (San Lorenzo in '69) in the late 60's. He married a British woman and had two sons the last time I saw him in early 1969. If you have any information about him I would appreciate hearing from you.
