I have a book that states Sarah carr married while in Va William Caviness born about 1765 William died in 1795 This genealogy book is so mixed up that I believe David Fanning over the author . There were many mistakes with this genealogy , and it seems that the fact that William Carr was named as one of the executors( Rolly Spinks the other) that caused the author to arrive at the conclusion they were siblings. Sarah died intestate in 1803 leaving four children under 15 these children were specifically mentioned as her heirs these children were bound out to various Caviness family , I am not sure why William Carr and Rolly Spinks were executors of the estate , but I do know that there is little if any evidence to support the fact that Sarah was a Carr and no evidence whatsoever that The wife of Fredrick Caviness was a Carr it is entirely speculation It makes me angry .because once it is written it is virtually impossible to change it.
