I have just uncovered what may be a clue to my long lost Mary Jane Burns,
who was married in Trinity parish Anglican church in 1792 to Daniel Purdy.
. I found a family of William Burns, in which there is a Phebe Marie
Burns, m: 30 Dec 1785 to Edmund Fanning at the same Trinity Parish Church.
If Edmund Fanning connects in any way to your Fannings, I'd love to hear
from you. If Mary Jane is a sister of Phebe's, then I will have found her
family. There is also a Sarah Burns, a sister to Phebe, who married Joseph
Gilliland..
