Hi Carol,
This may help you:WILLIAM JENKINS b. 1828 KY?, married AMANDA CONN b. 1832 KY?; daughter MARY SUSAN JENKINS b. 1854 KY, d. 11 Dec 1934 WI, married ISAAC THORNBERRY b. 1849 KY, d. 1913 WI; daughter LAURA JANE THORNBERRY b. 1874 KY, d. 1959 KY, married WILSON BUD FANNIN b. 1872 KY, d. 1963 KY.WILSON BUD FANNIN is a descendant of the long line of THOMAS ANIS FANNING b. 1636.Most of the FANNIN/FANNING information I have seems correct and had already been researched by my brother and some of the expert FANNINS who may be reading our messages (Thank you!)I found a good THORNSBERRY tree. They came over in the 1700's and were in PA, VA, TN, NC, KY, and WI.I will be happy to supply any information I have.
Do you have any information about the ancestors and famiy of WILLIAM JENKINS and AMANDA CONN.My mother's generation has a strong occurence (three sisters) of ovarian cancer, which, if genetic, comes from the maternal side of families. My grandmother, great-grandmother, and g-great grandmother had long lives, so possibly did not have it.I am researching their FANNIN/G, THORNSBERRY, JENKINS, CONN sisters and other female ancestors. If you or anyone else has any information I would really appreciate it.
